You are required to take one digital photograph which for you illustrates the social or cultural or environmental determinants of health. You MUST not take photos of any incriminating or illegal activities or take photographs of individuals without their permission.
You are required to include this photograph in your assessment. In your assessment, you should
1) Outline how your photograph illustrates a social or cultural or environmental determinant of health. Ensure that you outline how this determinant (factor) would influence health status (suggest 500 words +/- 10%)
2) Briefly describe THREE (3) approaches that could be used to improve health status and
equity with regards the determinant you have selected and described in part 1. (suggest 500 words +/- 10%)
You will need to research some additional information for this assessment. You must support your writing with references from the literature. You should include 6 appropriate peer reviewed journal references and two web based references from organisations like the World Health Organisation (WHO), United Nations (UN) or the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW). You will use APA referencing in this essay.
