Assessment Task 2– Project 2
For this project you are to use the learning stories and reflections of the days gathered in assessment task 2 project 1. Using this information, you are required to create four (4) activities that could be used in an early education and care service to promote development of these children.You will need to provide detailed instructions so that anyone could pick them up and carry out the activity with children. Each activity should:

1.Address a different development area
2. At least one should be an individual one on one activity
3.One a group activity.
4. At least one should use puppet or prop’s
5. At least one should talk about patterns and symbols

Each activity should be for a different age group between the ages of zero (0) and eight (8)

You will also need to include all the information possible to assist someone else carry out these activities with children. You will be required to include things such as:

4.What resources are needed

On two occasions your workplace supervisor will be completing the observation check list below and on the third occasion the assessor will complete the observations. You will need to provide your workplace supervisor with a copy of your planned activity prior to the observation. The observation should last for approximately 10-15 minutes, but you will be required to continue play with the child until the activity is complete. You should ensure that you assist the child in a way that is appropriate to their stage of development, physically, socially and cognitively. You will also need to complete learning stories or reflection of the day documentation and submit along with this assessment kit. Your workplace supervisor and assessor will be looking for you to demonstrate the following performance, skills and knowledge criteria:
