Effective interpersonal communication is essential in nursing. It helps promote therapeutic relationships, provide health-related information, and develop and maintain collaborative relationships with members of the interdisciplinary health care team.

This assessment provides an opportunity for you to evaluate what constitutes respectful and effective communication within the multicultural health care environment.

Summary:
After watching a video presentation of a case study scenario, you will be required to answer a number of questions related to what you have seen in the clip. This is task is to assess your understanding of the information on communication and cultural diversity covered in Modules 1 & 2.

Task Instructions:
To complete this assessment, you must watch the case study then answer each question on the Assessment 1 Response Template. This document must be uploaded to Blackboard as your submission. You should review content from Modules 1 & 2 to assist in completing this task. Answer the questions in full sentences and refer to the word count provided as a guide.
