For each question within this assessment, you are Louise O’Brien, the HR Manager at Global Star Enterprises (GSE). Your role is to perform a broad range of duties, including managing and overseeing recruitment, selection and induction processes.

When you are managing recruitment, selection and induction within an organisation, you must ensure that you do so in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.

To be an effective and productive HR professional, you must ensure that you can manage your workload through effective planning and prioritisation. Imagine you are working as a HR Manager who works from
8am to 4pm and you have the following tasks on your to-do list for today:
1.Respond to an external recruitment consultant relating to an invoice query
2.Prepare for your meeting at 2pm (goes from 2 – 3:30pm)
3.Approve personnel request forms for the manufacturing department by 10am
4.Prepare a recruitment and selection plan for the marketing department (this will take 2.5 hours)
5.Print and prepare all documentation for interviews you are holding tomorrow
