Assignment criteria
Your Assignment 1 task is to develop a stand on your chosen issue. Be sure to answer the question clearly in your presentation and to present an appropriate rationale for your position on the topic. In some topics you may argue for one side or for both sides of the issue.
Apply your critical thinking skills to develop a valid argument and clear standpoint on your chosen contemporary issue.
Aim to convince the audience of your point of view. To do this you will need to:
- demonstrate your understanding of the different marketing concepts.
- justify your argument with logical rationale and references
- illustrate your point of view using at least one (1) recent (last 12 months), original example.
- use at least one type of visual aid (e.g. PowerPoint slides, photos, videos, product samples, props) suitable to help communicate your message.
- your presentation will be assessed on your ability to engage your audience during your presentation using eye contact, good pacing and intonation, and interesting examples.
